A graduate of Istanbul University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of History, Faruk AYIN served as a teacher at Kuleli Military High School and as a specialist and chairman of the General Staff. He took part in delegations representing the Turkish armed forces and took positions in Turkmenistan, Romania and the Turkish Republic of Cyprus, especially the United States.
He completed his master's degree in Ankara University and doctorate in Hacettepe University and worked as a lecturer at universities for nearly 10 years. He has many books and articles written in his field. It has been supporting the policies of our state by working in coordination with non-governmental organizations and relevant state institutions for 15 years, especially on disadvantaged groups and asylum seekers.
